Pick the class that you feel with your gut feeling is kind of your "default", the one you think is coolest at a very shallow and aesthetic level. Then play that class. When your brain tries to give you intrusive thoughts about other classes or if you made the wrong decision, just ignore it.

There is no tank or healer per se. The main roles (on pve endgame content) are dps, support. It's hard to make a singular tierlist for builds in this game. Most people kinda agree the game is really easy, but then you have someone like MightyTeapot (which is probably where you need to go for a decent tierlist) make a bunch of tierlists that extremely heavily factor in ''making things easier'', which is a philosophy I dont really subscribe to, the permanent-training-wheels approach in When gw2 was released almost all classes were sort of roaming tanky classes. They have added elite specs to give each class something more specific. For instance: a ranger can be a druid or a soulbeast. Druids are top of the line boon givers/healers. Soulbeast has an incredible burst. So you can do both with just ranger. 4P5M7uI.
